Lok Sabha Election Opinion Poll: Will AAP Outperform BJP In Delhi, Punjab? Check This Pre Poll Survey Report

There has been a lot of political drama around the AAP and the BJP after the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in a money laundering case by the Enforcement Directorate.

In fact, the Opposition parties on Sunday put a united face at a rally at Ramlila Maidan over Kejriwal's arrest. Amid this, a survey for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections for Punjab and Delhi has claimed that the BJP will come out with flying colours in Delhi while giving a strong fight in Punjab.

LS Poll Predictions For Delhi Punjab

As per The Times Now-ETG Survey report, the BJP is expected to secure 53 per cent of the vote share in Delhi, with the AAP following closely at 29 per cent, trailed by the Congress at 15 per cent, and others at 3 per cent.

The BJP is predicted to win all seven seats in Delhi while the AAP and Congress, which have allied, are drawing a blank.

In Punjab, the BJP is forecasted to win 4-6 seats, while the AAP is likely to secure 5-7 seats. The survey also suggests the Congress to secure 1-3 seats, with the Akali Dal predicted to garner no seats.

It's worth noting that there is no alliance between the AAP and Congress in Punjab.

In terms of vote share, the BJP is projected to attain 26 per cent in Punjab, while the AAP is anticipated to receive 29 per cent. The Congress is expected to secure 23 per cent, followed by the Akali Dal at 18 per cent, with other parties collectively constituting 4 per cent.

While Delhi will vote on May 25, the polling for Punjab will be held on June 1.
