Lightning kills one in Nashik
Nashik, June 22: A 28-year-old man was killed and another injured when lightning struck them in Satana taluka here, police said on Wednesday,June 22.
The incident took place yesterday after heavy rains lashed Nashik city and all the tehsil towns in the district, they said. The deceased was identified as Vishal Suresh Jagtap.
According to sources in the Collector office, 52 mm of rain was recorded in Nashik till yesterday giving people respite from heatwave. However, some low lying areas experienced flooding and power cuts due to the showers.
