Puducherry - Lifestyle modification centre opened

Puducherry, Mar 4: Health Department of Puducherry has opened a 'lifestyle modification centre' to provide yoga courses and naturopathy facility for those above 30 years, claimed to be the first such in the Union Territory.

A release from the department said tourists visiting Puducherry can also make use of the facilities provided under the National AYUSH scheme of the Central government.

The lifestyle modification centre has facilities for screening of people to ascertain health status. This is the first such centre opened in Puducherry to generate awareness about health status of individuals, the release said.
