Leopard trapped by forest dept after it attacks girl

Ballari, Dec 24: A leopard was trapped in the cage kept by the forest officials near Ramsagar village in the district last night, a day after it attacked a 17-year old girl.

The leopard will be released into the forest, Hosapete Range Forest Officer Shridhar said.

Meanwhile, the girl who had suffered injuries on the shoulder and the hands in the attack has been discharged from Hosapete government hospital where she was treated.
