Legendary Actor Dev Anand's Bungalow Sold For Whopping Amount Of Rs 400 Crores
Legendary actor Dev Anand's bungalow has been sold for a whopping Rs 400 crores. The bungalow where the Bollywood legend lived with his wife and children for 40 years will now be converted into a 22-floor building.

Dev Anand's bungalow in Juhu where he lived with his wife Kalpana Kartik, and children Suniel Anand and Devina Anand has been sold to a real-estate company. Reportedly, the property has been sold for approximately ₹350-400 crores as it's a prime location with bungalows of prominent industrialists in the locality.
A source told Hindustan Times that there was no one to look after the bungalow as the actor's son lives in US and daughter lives in Ooty with her mother. So they decided to sell off the property. The source further said that the family sold his property in Panvel for the same reason.
It is also revealed that the money earned from selling Dev Anand's studio was distributed among his two children and his wife who purchased their apartments.
According to a close source to the family, Dev Anand once said, "I built my Juhu house 1950. Juhu was a small village then and there was total wilderness. I liked it because I'm a loner. Juhu has become very crowded now, too full of people, especially on Sundays. It's not the same beach any longer. My Iris Park residence doesn't have a park anymore, there is a school and four bungalows bang opposite my place," during an interview to a media.
Reportedly Bollywood actors like Madhuri Dixit Nene and Dimple Kapadia also once lived in the apartments around the bungalow.
