Legal notice issued to Sonia Gandhi by Kerala-based construction firm
Thiruvananthapuram, June 8: In a major embarrassment to the Congress, an FIR was filed against the party President Sonia Gandhi by a Kerala-based construction company on Wednesday, June 8.
According to reports, leading realty firm Heather Infrastructure Pvt Ltd served a legal notice to Sonia and other Congress leaders over non-payment of dues amounting to Rs 2.8 crore.

It has been three years that the builder has not been allegedly paid for the construction of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Development Studies. Sonia had also inaugurated the institute building.
Heather Constructions is all set to move the court against Sonia Gandhi, Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President VM Sudheeran and opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala over non payment of dues.
