Lashkar-e-Tayiba is activating its defunct launch pads along IB

An intelligence bureau report states that this time around the terrorists from Pakistan would look to focus on Jammu and are planning on carrying out a series of strikes in this region.

Srinagar, Nov 3: Indian security forces have spotted several new terror launch pads along with the International Border with Pakistan. The Lashkar-e-Tayiba has dropped off several of its men into two launch pads along the IB and is planning on targeting Jammu, intelligence bureau reports state.

Following the September 29 surgical strikes, many terror launch pads at Pakistan occupied Kashmir have been closed down and the Lashkar-e-Tayiba is exploring the IB now. There has been enhanced activity at the International Border in the past couple of days.

Cease fire violations are being reported by the dozen and this is a strategy on part of Pakistan, says an Intelligence Bureau report. The Pakistan army has been providing cover fire so that terrorists are able to infiltrate. The Lashkar-e-Tayiba is gearing up for a major offensive in Jammu in the coming months and hence is activating several defunct launch pads along the IB.

The Indian forces have their task cut out. Terrorists of the Lashkar-e-Tayiba and the Jaish-e-Mohammad are being dropped off in large numbers. They would look to take advantage of every opportunity to infiltrate into Jammu. An intelligence bureau report states that this time around the terrorists from Pakistan would look to focus on Jammu and are planning on carrying out a series of strikes in this region.
