Land worth Rs 300 Cr freed from encroachment

Noida (UP), Nov 25: Noida authority enforcement team along with district officials and police force today freed around one lakh square meter land worth Rs 300 cr from unauthorised occupation, an official said.

The Noida authority team on directions from authority's Chairman Rama Raman today demolished unauthorised construction in Salarpur area and freed one lakh square meter land from unauthorised occupation, he said.

The present market value of cleared land is around Rs 300 crore, he said. City Magistrate KP Singh along with other officials and police force was present at the spot. Around 100 senior and junior employees were present at the spot with 6 JCB machines, 2 cranes and 5 dumpers, he said. Though, residents protested against the drive but police forcibly moved them out and drive continued smoothly thereafter, the official said.
