Furthermore, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on the same day, named Bihar Deputy CM and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav, along with Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi, in its fresh chargesheet related to the Land for Job Scams. The chargesheet, which also lists 14 others, marks the second one in this case.

The chargesheet, filed in Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court, alleges that Tejashwi and Rabri were beneficiaries of the alleged crime. In addition to members of the Yadav family, AK Infosystems and several middlemen have been named in the case. The charge sheet was filed in a special CBI court.

According to the accusations, during Lalu Prasad's tenure as a minister in the UPA government from 2004 to 2009, people from Patna were appointed to various zonal railways located in Mumbai, Jabalpur, Kolkata, Jaipur, and Hazipur as substitutes.

The case, filed in 2022, alleges that then railway minister Lalu Prasad Yadav provided pecuniary benefits to his family members in exchange for offering railway jobs to residents of Bihar.

As per CBI officials, the probe revealed at least seven instances of quid pro quo in the form of land transfers. In return for these land transfers, twelve individuals secured jobs in six zones, according to the agency.
