Tejashwi appears before CBI, sister Misa to be grilled by ED
Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav appeared before the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Saturday for questioning in connection with the land-for-jobs scam case. His sister Misa Bharti will appear and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the case.
Upon his arrival at the CBI headquarters at around 10:30 am, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader was escorted to the investigation team after the completion of the necessary formalities.

Speaking to news agency ANI, Tejashwi, while leaving his residence in Delhi for the CBI office, said that even though the current state of affairs in India has made it tough to fight, they have decided to take on the challenge and will emerge victorious. He added that they have always been cooperative with the investigating agencies.
''We have always cooperated with the agencies but the situation in the country is that it has become very difficult to fight but we have decided to fight against this and we will win,'' he said.
On March 16, the CBI assured the Delhi High Court that it will not arrest Yadav this month, after which the RJD leader agreed to appear before it.
Yadav has, so far, skipped three CBI summons in the case on March 4, 11 and 14. He was given notice to appear for questioning on February 28, March 4, and March 11.
Recently, the probe agency questioned Yadav's father and RJD chief Lalu Prasad and his mother Rabri Devi in Delhi and Patna, respectively.
The CBI filed a charge sheet in the land-for-jobs case against Prasad, Rabri Devi and 14 others under charges of criminal conspiracy and provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
Earlier, the ED had raided 24 locations including Yadav's Delhi residence, other locations in the national capital region, Patna, Ranchi and Mumbai in connection with a money laundering probe in the land-for-jobs case.
