Lalu's plea for Z-plus security rejected by the CBI court
Bisra Munda Jail superintendent Dharmendra Pandey said that after his conviction, Yadav had sought the court's permission to keep his Z-plus security with him but the court did not permit it.
According to the Z-plus security, the former Bihar Chief Minister is entitled to cover by the National Security Guard black cat commando.
Yadav used to travel with a team of 30 commandos, with a small team at one time, whenever he used to travel in any part of the country. The security cover around Lalu was a result of threat perception analysis done a few years ago.

According to reports, the decision to remove the commandos could be taken as a threat to Prasad, who will now be disqualified as a Member of the Parliment.
Yadav is currently lodged in the Bisra Munda jail, where he will be awaiting the sentence in the fodder scam, which is likely to be given on October 3 via video conference.
