After Nitish Kumar resigns, Lalu calls him a murder accused
Lalu also reiterated that Nitish never asked for Tejashwi Yadav to resign.
Barely an hour after Nitish Kumar's resignation as Bihar Chief Minister, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav launched a scathing attack on Nitish, accusing him of hand-in-glove with BJP and RSS.

Lalu, addressing the media on latest political developments in Bihar, said that Nitish is a 'main accused in murder and arms case'.

"Nitish Kumar knew that he is accused of section 302, one of India's CM is main accused in murder and arms case," ANI quoted Lalu as saying.
"Ye (Nitish Kumar) mile hue hain BJP, RSS se. Kya setting hai, PM Modi turant tweet kar diye, Nitish Kumar ko badhaai de diye (He has joined hands with RSS, BJP. PM Modi tweets to congratulate Nitish soon after his resignation, it raises questions)," he added.
Lalu also reiterated that Nitish never asked for Tejashwi Yadav to resign.
The corruption allegations on Tejashwi Yadav was the main reason for standoff between the JDU and the RJD. Several sections of the JDU had called for Yadav's resignation in the wake of ongoing investigation.
Nitish Kumar on Wednesday resigned as Bihar Chief Minister after a standoff with RJD over Deputy Chief Minister Tajashwi Yadav. After meeting with Janata Dal (United) MLAs, Nitish Kumar on Wednesday went to Raj Bhawan and tendered resignation Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi.
The situation had become increasingly difficult for Nitish to continue after Tajashwi, who is facing graft charges, refused to step down.
