After a telephonic chat with Father Rodney Borneo of the Archdiocese of Calcutta, Partho told police that he was ready to bid farewell to his father.

According to sources, Partho had requested Father Rodney that he did not want any people at Keoratala. Elaborate arrangements were made to ensure that cremation remained "under wraps".

The incident was unfolded when police discovered Mr Arobindo's body from his house. He committed suicide. Later police found Partho who was living with three skeletons.

Partho claimed that their two pet dogs and his sister Debjani had died in 2014. But he did not cremate them and had been living with their skeletons for more than six months.

The shocking incident made headlines across the country. Partho, a former TCS employee, currently had been lodged in a mental hospital.
