Kolkata: Shopping mall employee raped by co-passengers

, Jan 20: A shopping mall employee was raped by her co-passengers in a shuttle taxi on her way back home on Sunday evening. In fact, it is alleged by her family members that she had been raped at knife point by six men when she was returning at 10:30 pm.

The crime took place at the Hastings Police Station area. The woman has been hospitalised and is currently in a stable condition.

The woman had taken a shuttle or a hired cab to her home when her co-passengers, approximately six of them dragged her out of the car when it reached an isolated spot and gangraped her.

A case of gangrape against unknown persons has been filed.
