Kolkata Missionaries of Charity celebrates Mother's 104th birthday

Nuns of Missionaries of Charity and Archbishop of Kolkata Thomas D'Suz attended the mass and prayed in front of Mother's tomb.
Born in Macedonia as Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu, Mother Teresa spent most of her life in Calcutta (Kolkata), where she founded the Order of the Missionaries of Charity, a Roman Catholic congregation, dedicated for the service of poor.
The organisation is now active in more than 130 countries. It has more than 4,500 nuns working under it.
Mother Teresa was awarded Nobel Peace Prize in 1979. She passed away on on September 5, 1997.
