Mukesh Ambani's Mother Kokilaben Hospitalised

Kokilaben Ambani, mother of Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani and Reliance ADA Group chief Anil Ambani, was hospitalised on Thursday night.

She is currently admitted at HN Reliance Foundation Hospital after being airlifted in an emergency on Thursday night.

More details on her health are awaited.

While the Ambanis are yet to issue a statement on her health, she is being treated by senior doctors at the hospital, as per the reports. The Ambani family, including Mukesh and Anil, was seen rushing to Reliance Hospital in Mumbai in a now-viral video. Also other family members were also seen landing at Kalina airport, apparently returning to the city in response to the news.

Kokilaben Ambani is best known as the wife of the late industrialist Dhirubhai Ambani, founder of Reliance Industries, and mother of Mukesh Ambani, India's richest person.

Born on February 24, 1934, in Jamnagar, Gujarat, she is considered the matriarch of the Ambani family and is respected for her role in supporting and raising the family through India's rapid transformation.

She has four children - Mukesh, Anil, Nina Kothari, and Dipti Salgaocar.

Kokilaben is known for being a strict vegetarian, a devotee of Shrinath ji, and has a fondness for luxury cars such as Mercedes-Benz.
