Know why Rahul Gandhi is the ‘only true politician' in India
A comedian says that Rahul Gandhi is the only true politician in India as he does not get offended by jokes.
New Delhi, July 21: Did the headline make you jump? Please, calm down! No need to get so serious. We are not passing any judgement on Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi and his leadership qualities.
In fact, it's Rahul's namesake, a comedian by profession, who thinks that the scion of the Gandhi family is the "only true politician" in the country because he does not get offended by jokes.

In a viral video, comedian Rahul Subramanian is seen making fun of his namesake by stating, "My name is Rahul and I'm not a Gandhi."
The stand-up comic went on adding that "unlike the Congress leader, his jokes are intentional."
However, after cracking a few jokes on the Congress leader, the comedian praised his namesake for developing a thick-skin to ridicule, unlike other politicians who get easily offended.
"Even Sonia Gandhi sends WhatsApp jokes," the comedian adds, as the audience's laughed heartily. "And that's a sign of a true politician, who can take jokes on himself."
The stand-up comic pin-points that if on the one hand there is Rahul Gandhi, on the other hand, there is, "he who must not be named", about whom nobody can make fun about.
He describes the 'other' politician as the "56-inch", making it pretty obvious about whom he is talking about without naming him.
The video has come at a time when making jokes about politicians is a risky affair. Many comedians in the recent past have either courted arrest or faced ban for cracking jokes at the expense of politicians.
Watch the video below and just laugh and enjoy without getting offended as that is the message of comedian Rahul:
