Karwa Chauth falls on the fourth day of the Kartik month in the Hindu lunisolar calendar. The sighting of the moon is a pivotal moment, marking the end of the fast. If the moon is not visible, the fast is traditionally symbolically broken upon learning about the precise moonrise timing.

As per Drik Panchang, in 2023, Karwa Chauth is scheduled for 1st November. The puja muhurat, signifying the auspicious time for performing rituals, spans from 5:36 am to 6:54 pm.

The Chaturthi Tithi, also known as the fourth day in the lunar calendar, begins on 31st October at 9:30 pm and concludes on 1st November at 9:19 pm. The fasting duration extends from 6:33 am to 8:15 pm, and the moonrise is anticipated at 8:15 pm.
