'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' 1st day collection: Check top 10 Eid openers of Salman
Salman Khan's much-awaited 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' is off to a decent start at the India box office.
Released in about 4500 screens, the Salman Khan-starrer has estimated to have earned 15.81 crore on the first day. The trade trackers were predicting the movie to collect around Rs 15-18 crore. However, this figure is satisfactory considering the openings that Hindi movies are getting in the post-pandemic era.

After 2020, even A-list actors' films are collecting in the range of Rs 12-15 crore. Even last year blockbuster 'Drishyam' had raked in Rs 15.38 crore. However, some films such as 'Pathaan' (Rs 57 crore) and 'Brahmastra' (Rs 36 crore) got flying starts.
No Match to Salman's Earlier Collection
The first-day collection of 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' is no match to the business made by Salman Khan's movies before the pandemic. His movies used to collect in the range of Rs 25-40 crore on the first day earlier.
In 2010, his 'Dabangg' had collected Rs 14.50 crore. Thereafter, all his movies had earned over Rs 20 crore on the opening day.
Here is The List of 1st Day Collection of Salman's Eid Release Since 2010
2010: 'Dabangg' Rs 14.50 crore
2011: 'Bodyguard' Rs 21.60 crore
2012: 'Ek Tha Tiger' Rs 32.93 crore
2014: 'Kick' Rs 26.40 crore
2015: 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' Rs 27.25 crore
2016: 'Sultan' Rs 36.54 crore
2017: 'Tubelight' Rs 21.15 crore
2018: 'Race 3' Rs 29.17 crore
2019: 'Bharat' Rs 42.30 crore
2023: 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan': Rs 15.81 crore
However, the collection of the Hindi flick is expected to increase on the second day due to Eid festival. The early trends have indicated that the Saturday collection might cross Rs 20 crore.
If the evening shows run into packed houses at key centres, there is also a possibility of the movie earning around Rs 22-23 crore on the second day, say trade analysts.
Directed by Farhad Samji, 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' is an action-packed drama which has opened to mixed response. The movie has Pooka Hegde in the female lead and has Jagapathi Babu, Bhumika Chawla, Jassie Gill, Siddharth Nigam, and others in the cast.
