Delhi polls: BJP's CM candidate Kiran Bedi to file nomination
New Delhi, Jan 21: Kiran Bedi, BJP's chief ministerial candidate in Delhi, will file her nomination on Wednesday from the Krishna Nagar constituency here.
Party sources said Bedi will file the nomination after she participates in a roadshow from the Lala Lajpat Rai chowk in the constituency till the sub-divisional magistrate's office.
Krishna Nagar is considered to be a traditional stronghold of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
In the last assembly poll, the party had fielded senior leader Harsh Vardhan, who is now a cabinet minister in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government.
Bedi's roadshow witnessed a lot of crowd from her supporters.
Delhi goes to poll Feb 7 and the results would be declared Feb 10.
