Kiran Bedi to join hands with civic workers for clean Puducherry
Puducherry, June 4: Puducherry Lieutenant Governor Kiran Bedi will join hands with civic workers on World Environment Day tomorrow to take up 'Swacch Bharat Abhiyan'.
"We will soon clean up our areas by joining hands with municipal workers and it will be a sustained drive," she said.

Addressing a joint meeting of police personnel and sanitary workers of Puducherry and Oulgaret Municipalities, she said she wanted to see Puducherry getting the national for cleanliness.
She said a massive programme to plant saplings would be launched soon in Puducherry. "Millions of trees will be planted and this will enable creation of a green Puducherry.," she said.
