Khasdar Mahotsav Celebrates Nagpur's Cultural Heritage, Says CM Devendra Fadnavis
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis highlighted the significance of the Khasdar Sanskrutik Mahotsav, a cultural festival deeply rooted in Nagpur and the Vidarbha region. He described it as a celebration of art, heritage, and unity. The festival, initiated by Nitin Gadkari, Nagpur Lok Sabha MP and Union minister, showcases the city's cultural revival.

Fadnavis, who is also from Nagpur, expressed pride in how the festival has become a symbol of cultural pride for both the city and Vidarbha. The event has successfully introduced Vidarbha and Nagpur to top artists and intellectuals from across India. It provides a platform for emerging artists from Vidarbha to display their talents.

The Khasdar Sanskrutik Mahotsav has established a distinct identity by bringing together diverse talents. Fadnavis commended Gadkari and the organising committee for their visionary role in nurturing this cultural gem. He noted that the festival has become an essential part of Nagpur's cultural landscape.
Poet and orator Dr Kumar Vishwas delivered an engaging presentation dedicated to Lord Ram at the festival. Fadnavis praised him for his performance, stating, "Dr Kumar Vishwas ji is a renowned poet, writer, and thinker. He beautifully elucidates the significance of Lord Ram and the profound lessons from his life, leaving the audience mesmerized."
Cultural Revival Movement
Fadnavis emphasised that Dr Vishwas's insightful words not only highlight his poetic brilliance but also position him as a key figure in the cultural revival movement. The festival features a wide range of cultural and spiritual events, reinforcing its importance in Nagpur's cultural identity.
The Chief Minister shared that this event holds personal significance for him as it marks his first public appearance in Nagpur since becoming chief minister on December 5. He expressed hope for the festival's continued success in promoting art, culture, and heritage.
