Khalistani Terrorist Pannun Calls For Attack On Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, DGP On Republic Day

Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, who is associated with Khalistani activities, reportedly issued threats against Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and DGP Gaurav Yadav on Tuesday. Allegedly linking the threat to stringent actions taken against gangsters in Punjab, Pannun called for collaboration among criminals to target Mann on Republic Day, January 26.

The death threat is believed to be a reaction to the Punjab Police's zero tolerance policy against gangsters. This incident follows Pannun's previous threat against the Indian government during the consecration ceremony of the Ayodhya Ram Temple on January 22. During that event, he encouraged the Muslim community to oppose the ceremony, contending that the temple was constructed on the site of the Babri Masjid.

According to intelligence sources, Pannun has labeled Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a "global enemy of Muslims" and alleged that the temple was erected on the remains of thousands of Muslims who were coerced into conversion.

In his statements, Pannun reportedly described the January 22 consecration ceremony at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya as the "most unholy, ungodly, unrighteous ceremony," equating it to Modi's "Operation Bluestar against Muslims."
