Khagaria carnage: Main accuse arrested from Haryana

Patna, Nov 19: Bihar police today arrested the main accuse of the 2009 carnage in Khagaria district in which 16 persons from Jhajhar in Haryana were killed. Special Task Force (STF) arrested Manoj Sada and another person Sanjay Sada from a place under Beri police station of Jhajhar district this morning, IGP (Operation) Amit Kumar told PTI.

Manoj of Pirpanti village in Khagaria district is the main accused in 2009 massacre, in which 16 persons were killed, he said.

The Bihar Police will bring them here after acquiring transit remand from the Haryana court, the IGP said.

Manoj Sada has been a prize catch as he had been evading arrest for last four years, Kumar added.
