Kerala tourism invites MLAs to relax at resorts
The D-day has come to an end. Tensed Tuesday has brought joy to some and tears to many. Meanwhile, the Kerala tourism department invited tired MLAs to relax at the resorts in the state.
It's not a joke or troll. The Kerala Tourism department extended the invitation through its official Twitter handle.
"After the rough and tumble of the Karnataka Verdict, we invite all the MLAs to unwind at the safe & beautiful resorts of God's Own Country. #ComeOutAndPlay".
It seems the neighbouring state following the political developments closely. And the tourism department chose the right time to boost the tourism sector.
Karnataka was headed to a hung assembly as no party got a clear majority. The BJP won 104 seats and the Congress 78. The JDS got 38 seats.
Following the fractured mandate 'resort-politics' and 'horse-trading' were back in political discussions in the state. Meanwhile, Kerala Tourism attracted media attention with their tweet.
