The brutal incident came to light during the early hours of Sunday when the neighbors had informed the police and fire officials that smoke was emanating from the house.
I killed my parents and sister to separate their souls from their bodies, claimed a man from Kerala. It was an experiment, I conducted to detach their souls from their bodies, Cadell Jeansen Raja told the police while describing the concept as Astral projection. The police are however not ready to buy this version as yet.

However, the police are not ready to take this version completely. It was after twelve hours of interrogation that Cadell has admitted to the crime.
Meanwhile a top police official said that the 30 year old will be interrogated further after being observed closely by senior psychiatrists as the convict exhibits varied character syndromes.
"He has admitted to the crime. But his behavioral patterns seems changing from time to time and that's why we need the help of a psychiatrist to find the correct version", the police said.
