Kerala government falls prey to Pak cyber army
Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 28: Investigations being conducted into the hacking of the Kerala government's website has revealed that a team of the Pakistan Cyber Army was behind the incident.
The website of the Kerala government www.keralagov.in was hacked on late Saturday night. A team of officials who worked on the problem following the hack have managed to restore the site.

The cyber wing of Kerala along with the intelligence bureau are probing the incident. Preliminary investigations have revealed that the attack emerged out of Pakistan.[Kerala government website hacked by Pakistani hackers]
It was a member of the notorious Pakistan Cyber Army which carried out this hack, a member of the investigating team informed OneIndia. The hacker goes by the name, Faisal 1337, investigations have also shown.
The hacker posted two messages on the Kerala governmnt's official website. While one message read, " Pakistan Zindabad," the other read, " security is an illusion." The hackers however chose to conceal the identity of their team and termed themselves as the Pak Cyber Attackers.
Intelligence Bureau officials however say that the name used is fake. It is the Pakistan Cyber Army which has conducted this hack, the officer also informed.
Following this incident which is a major embarrassment for the Kerala government, it is now decided to conduct a security audit of all government websites.
The Home Minister of Kerala, Ramesh Chennithala said on his facebook page that a security audit of all government websites would be conducted immediately.
