Kerala: Child stage artiste dies soon after enacting death scene

Kannur (Kerala), Nov 28: A 13-year-old stage artiste died soon after returning home after performing in a drama in a sub-district youth festival. The tragedy occurred on Monday.

According to a report published in The News Minute, Keerthana impressed her audience in the play in which she enacted a death scene.

On returning home at Keezhalloor, she felt weak and collapsed. Keerthana, who was a student of Class VIII of Koodali Higher Secondary School,, was a weak child like her twin sister who has a heart disease, her parents said, according to the News Minute report.

The headmistress of her school expressed shock at her sudden demise. She said Keerthana enacted the death scene perfectly and touched them emotionally.

Keerthana was known to be an active student who took interest in arts. Her funeral was held on Tuesday.
