Kejriwal's Varanasi roadshow: AAP supporter Raghu Ram beaten up

Raghu was allegedly attacked while Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal was holding a roadshow in the city which is going to poll on May 12.
Though it was not clarified who attacked Raghu but it has been reported that the miscreants were not the students of the university. Raghu, who is known as a strong supporter of AAP, took to micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, "Oh well. I just got attacked by 2 guys with lathis inside BHU! They were outsiders. The BHU boys chased them away."
Initially, it was reported that AAP candidate from Chandigarh and Bollywood actress Gul Panag too was attacked. However, later she herself informed that she did not face any attack and she was safe.
The actress tweeted, "Just read about me being 'attacked'. Incorrrect. Safe & sound," and added, "Things heated up during an interaction with #BHU students. Got away before things escalated. @tweetfromraghu WAS attacked. Is now safe."
Both Gulpanag and Raghu asserted that Kejriwal has already won the battle in Varanasi against BJP candidate Narendra Modi and Congress leader Ajay Rai.
