Kejriwal to move into 5 bedroom duplex
New Delhi, Jan 3: Finally the Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has decided to move into a new residential compound in Bhagwan Dass Road in Delhi which has two adjacent duplex flats.

The new five-bedroom duplex flat is a modest space compared to the official residence allotted to chief ministers. However, given that Kejriwal had earlier stated that he would live in a flat like an 'aam aadmi', this new decision might give an opportunity to the opposition to start an attack on the new chief minister.

The flats cover around 6,000 sq feet built-up area and 9,000 sq ft ground coverage including the lawn area.

Presently, Kejriwal stays in his Kaushambi in Ghaziabad with his family in an Indian Revenue Service ( IRS) flat allotted to his wife.

According to sources, one of the duplex flats will be used as the CM's camp office and the other will be used as his residence.

The former chief minister Sheila Dikshit was allotted a huge bungalow from central pool in the Lutyens Bungalow Zone area. All other former chief ministers lived in bungalows on Sham Nath Marg.
