Kejriwal Foresees 'Acche Din', Says 'Modi Ji Jane Waale Hain' in Rally

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, in a recent public address, confidently predicted the success of the INDIA bloc in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, subtly altering the BJP's 2014 election slogan to assert that "good days are on their way, Modi is on his way out." This statement was made during a street corner meeting in East Delhi's Gandhi Nagar constituency, where Kejriwal was joined by his wife, Sunita Kejriwal, for the first time in an election campaign. Sunita Kejriwal, praised for her pivotal role during her husband's absence, addressed the public with a heartfelt appeal to support AAP to prevent her husband's potential re-incarceration.

Kejriwal: Modi Ji to Leave Soon

Arvind Kejriwal's arrest on March 21 by the Enforcement Directorate over allegations linked to a liquor scam in Delhi has been a significant point of contention. However, with interim bail granted by the apex court until June 1, Kejriwal remains a central figure in AAP's campaign, promising full statehood for Delhi if victorious. His criticisms extend to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of derogatory remarks against political adversaries and highlighting the public's dissatisfaction with inflation and unemployment under BJP's governance.

At another campaign event in Shahdara, Kejriwal continued his critique of Modi's conduct towards political figures such as NCP SP chief Sharad Pawar and former Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray. Emphasizing respect for elders and condemning the use of inappropriate language, Kejriwal underscored the perceived failures of the current administration over the past decade. His campaign trail also included roadshows across various assembly segments in support of AAP candidate Kuldeep Kumar, urging Congress supporters to back AAP candidates where applicable.

With polling for seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi scheduled for May 25, Kejriwal's campaign efforts reflect a strategic push towards securing a victory for AAP and its allies within the INDIA bloc. The emphasis on mutual support between AAP and Congress supporters highlights a collaborative approach to challenge the incumbent government amidst concerns over economic issues and governance.
