Keep Plenty of Water Handy: Prashant Kishor Hits Back At Critics Of His Lok Sabha Predictions

Political strategist Prashanth Kishore, who has come under severe attack from netizens over his recent predictions on the Lok Sabha elections 2024, has slammed the people, asking them to "keep plenty of water handy on June 4".

For unversed, the election results for the Lok Sabha polls will be declared on June 4.

In a post on X, he wrote, "Drinking water is good as it keeps both mind and body hydrated. Those who are RATTLED with my assessment of outcome of this election must keep plenty of water handy on June 4th."

Kishore was mainly targeted after over his claims on Karan Thapar's interview.

In the clips of the interview, Kishor is seen drinking water while Thapar questions him about his alleged comments predicting a defeat for the Congress in the Himachal Assembly elections, last year.

During the interview, Kishor firmly denies ever making such remarks about Congress's electoral prospects in Himachal Pradesh. Despite the controversy, the Congress went on to win 40 out of 68 seats in the Himachal Assembly.

On Thursday, fact-checker Mohammad Zubair posted a screenshot claiming to show a tweet from Kishor, in which he allegedly predicted a rout for the Congress in Himachal.

Meanwhile, Prashant Kishor's party, Jan Suraaj, has put an end to the speculations which claimed that the BJP has appointed him as the spokesperson of the party.

In a statement, Jan Suraaj said the so-called BJP letter is fake.

"Look at the irony! Congress, Rahul Gandhi You all talk about fake news and claim to be the victims. Now see yourself how the head of Communications of Congress Party, Jairam Ramesh, apparently a senior leader, is personally circulating a fake document," the party said in the post.

On the other hand, the poll strategist has predicted that the BJP will come back to power again under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
