Murder of Dalit Family Leads to Suspension of Four Land Consolidation Department Employees in Kaushambi

Following the murder of three members of a Dalit family, four employees from the land consolidation department have been suspended by district administration. The suspensions are based on an investigation led by Additional District Magistrate Legal Jaichand Pandey.

The district administration of Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh has taken strict action following the tragic murder of a Dalit family over land disputes. On Wednesday, four employees from the land consolidation department were suspended and a request was made for the suspension of an assistant land consolidation officer. The decision came after an investigation into the incident which resulted in the death of three members of a Dalit family.

Investigation Leads to Suspensions

Dalit Family Murder in Kaushambi

A three-member committee led by Additional District Magistrate Legal Jaichand Pandey conducted an inquiry into this horrifying incident. Based on their findings, Raj Kiran, Shilvant Singh, Sivesh Singh and Ram Asre - all land consolidation lekhpal (accountants) - have been suspended due to their involvement in this case. Additional District Information Officer Ravi Jaiswal confirmed these suspensions and added that they have also requested for Assistant Land Consolidation Officer Afzal Ahmed's suspension.

The Tragic Incident

The victims identified as Shivsharan (30), his wife Brijkali (25), and his father-in-law Horilal (60) were gunned down inside their home on September 15th allegedly over property dispute. This gruesome event took place during the early hours while they were asleep at their residence in Chhabilepur village.

Police Action Following The Incident

In response to this heinous crime, police have made several arrests including apprehending last week's mastermind behind these killings. It was earlier reported by police that Shivsharan had purchased a piece of land adjacent to his in-laws' house in Chhabilepur village three years ago where he resided with his wife.

Increased Security Measures Post-Incident

In light of recent events and escalating tensions, a temporary police station has been established at Mohiuddinpur to increase vigilance and ensure the safety of local residents. This measure is expected to deter any further violent incidents and bring a sense of security among the villagers.
