Karnataka cabinet reshuffle: 13 fresh faces inducted to Siddaramaiah's cabinet
Bengaluru, June 19: Much awaited cabinet reshuffle has finally got the official stamp, with Governor of Karnataka administering the oath of office to 13 new faces on today in the evening hours.
Amid cheer of 'support-base' crowd of MLAs and; 8 MLAs and 1 MLC sworn in as cabinet rank ministers, while 4 took oath as ministers of state at Raj Bhavan in the presence of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
Vajubhai Vala, Governor administered the oath to newly inducted members. Oath occurred for three sets of members as they took oath, one set after the other.
Members took oath as cabinet ministers are Kogodu Timmappa (Sagar), Ramesh Kumar (Srinivaspura), Tanveer Sait (Narasimharaja), H Y Meti (Bagalkot), Basavaraj Rayareddy (Yelburga), S S Mallikarjun (Davangere North), M R Seetharam, MLC (Bengaluru city), Santosh Lad (Kalagatagi) and Jarkiholi Ramesh Laxmanrao (Gokak)
The members who sworn in as minster of state are Priyanka Kharge (Chittapur), Eshwara Khandre (Bhalki), Pramod Madhwaraj (Udupi) and Rudrappa Lavani (Haveri).
