Biryani mystery continues: Twitter flooded with jokes and comments on Kasab

New Delhi, March 21: Years after his execution, Ajmal Kasab, convicts of 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, once against made headlines, thanks to Ujjwal Nikam and one plate biryani.

Kasab's demand for mutton biryani during his stint in Mumbai jail once had created controversy across the country.

People were enraged with the fact that a terrorist like Kasab was enjoying food provided by Government of India.

Now, Ujjwal Nikam, who was the public persecutor in the case, once again irked the controversy saying that Kasab's demand for biryani was just a mere myth. ['Kasab never asked for biryani, it was concocted,' says Ujjwal Nikam]

Nikam on Saturday, March 21 claimed that the myth was "concocted" to stop an "emotional wave" which was being created in favour of the militant, claimed Ujjwal Nikam, public prosecutor in the case.

"Kasab never demanded biryani and was never served by the government. I concocted it just to break an emotional atmosphere which was taking shape in favour of Kasab during the trial of the case," Nikam told reporters on the sidelines of international conference on counter-terrorism here.

Soon after Nikam's statement, micro-blogging site Twitter was flooded with comments on Kasab. Here are a few tweets which were dedicated to the terrorist.
