Karunanidhi turns 93; pays tribute to DMK founder CN Annadurai
Chennai, June 3: Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) party chief M Karunanidhi on Thursday (June 3) celebrated his 94th birthday by paying a floral tribute to party founder and former chief minister CN Annadurai at Anna Memorial here.
According to reports, after celebration, the nonagenarian leader was set to meet political leaders at the DMK head office here and is also scheduled to address a meeting.

The DMK party lost the recent Assembly election and the AIADMK led by J Jayalalithaa returned to power for the second successive time.
However, Karunanidhi himself won with a record highest margin with more than 68,000 votes and got elected to the Tamil Nadu assembly. It was his 13th victory in an Assembly election.
