Karnataka terror plot: 2 more picked up for questioning

‎One person has been picked up for questioning in connection with the Karnataka terror plot. His name apparently was given to the police by the four members who were arrested from Bengaluru and Bhatkal.

The police are meanwhile also questioning one more person in connection with the same case. Police sources say that the man picked up is Danish. He was working in UAE and had come down on holidays.

Originally hailing from Bhatkal he had come to Bengaluru to meet with his friend at BTM layout where he was picked up by the police.

Part of the plot?

Police believe that Dhanish is part of the terror plot hatched by the four other persons who were picked up last week.

The police also claim that Dhanish was in touch with these four members who are suspected Indian Mujahideen operatives.

They are probing to find out if Dhanish who stayed in touch with his Bhatkal friends from UAE was also part of this terror plot.

Further they are also questioning him for more details on the whereabouts of Sultan Armar who is a key recruiter holed up in the UAE.

One more detained:

The police are also said to have detained for questioning one more person in connection with the same case. Sources say he goes by the name Savan and the police are looking for more information.
