Karnataka PUC Result 2018: 59.56 percent result this year, pass percentage increases by 7%

Karnataka Pre University Certification (PUC) Examination Part II results 2018 has been declared on Monday. The total pass percentage is 59.56 percent.The results percentage is improved by 7 percent from last year. Total 4,08,421 students have passed the II PU exams.

• As usual, girls (67.11%) have fared better than boys (52.30%).
• Among the districts, South Canara (91.49%), Udupi (90.67%) and Coorg (83.94%) districts have bagged top three positions.
• Chikkodi district is in the last position.
• A total of 54,692 students have passed in distinction.
• Around 118 colleges have recorded zero results and 68 colleges have registered 100 % result.

Karnataka 2nd PUC result:

• Total number of students pass: 4,08,421
• Distinction: 54,692
• First class: 2,13,611
• Second class: 82,532

Supplementary exams will be between 08/06/2018 to 20/06/2018.

The results once declared will be available on the official website. Around seven lakh students appeared for the exams that were held in March 2018. In all the number of examiners were 23,980 while the number of students who appeared for PU exams was 6,90,000.
