Karnataka pre-poll survey: Congress 128, BJP-73, JD(S)-38
The Congress will win 118 to 128 seats in the Karnataka assembly elections, the latest survey states. The second pre-election poll conducted by C fore says the Congress would end up with 118-128 seats.

In the case of the BJP, the survey says the party would get 63-73 seats. The JD(S) would get 29 to 36 while for the others it is 2 to 7.
C fore conducted the pre-poll survey in Karnataka between April 20th and 30th, 2018. Systematic random sampling methodology was used in selecting respondents for the survey. In all 6247 voters were interviewed from 61 assembly constituencies covering all regions using a structured questionnaire. Care was taken to ensure that different castes and communities were represented in the sample in their actual proportion. The survey has a margin of error of 2 percentage point at 95 percent confidence level, C fore said
