Karnataka Portfolio Allocation: Siddaramaiah Keeps Finance, Shivakumar Gets Bengaluru Development

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Monday allocated portfolios to his new Cabinet ministers and kept the ministries of finance, cabinet affairs, intelligence, and information, along with all other unallocated portfolios.

While Deputy Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar was allotted two plum portfolios of Major and Medium Irrigation and Bengaluru Development.

Veteran Congress leader G Parameshwara has been given the Home Ministry, while Dinesh Gundu Rao received Health and Family Welfare.

Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge's son Priyank Kharge has been allocated the Ministry of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj while K Patil got Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Legislation, and Tourism.

Siddaramaiah, Chief Minister: Finance, Cabinet Affairs, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Intelligence, Information, I.T. & B.T., Infrastructure Development and all unallocated portfolios.

D. K. Shivakumar, Deputy Chief Minister: Major and Medium Irrigation, Bengaluru City Development including BBMP, BDA, BWSSB, BMRDA, BMRCL (Connected to these authorities related to Town Planning).

Dr.G.Parameshwara: Home (excluding Intelligence).

H.K. Patil: Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Legislation, Tourism.

K.H. Muniyappa: Food and Civil Supplies, Consumer Affairs.
