‘Congress talks about development, but…’: Yogi Adityanath in Karnataka
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday held a massive roadshow in Mandya as part of his election campaign for the upcoming assembly election in Karnataka.

Addressing a public rally in Mandya, Adityanath said, "Congress only talks about development but the fact is that the 5-year schemes which they used to announce never became reality. But, when PM Modi keeps the foundation of a scheme, he also inaugurates it."
"Congress appeased Popular Front of India (PFI) and announced reservation based on religion, which is against Constitution. But the BJP has carried out massive development in Karnataka. Ram Mandir will be ready by 2024," said Yogi Adityanath in poll-bound Karnataka.
"In Uttar Pradesh, the law and order is under control. There is no curfew and no riots in the past six years. The concept of 'Ek Bharat, Sreshtha Bharat' that the BJP believes in, can alone take India forward, he said.
"BJP does not believe in appeasement; but in empowerment", he added.
The UP chief minister urged the voters to ensure that BJP candidates win and thereby strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Adityanath, who was among the list of star campaigners for the BJP in Karnataka, is likely to address more than a dozen election rallies and also hold roadshows in the state.
Adityanath is also one of the most sought-after BJP leaders from outside Karnataka and the party workers wanted him to campaign extensively in the state, a BJP leader said.
Yogi Adityanath began his maiden poll rally from Mandya as the BJP looks serious in making inroads into the Vokkaliga heartland.
In the previous election election, JDS got 26 seats from the old Mysuru region and the BJP won just 16, even as it swept across central and coastal Karnataka. The Congress bagged in 22seats.
