Karnataka Man Arrested for Slitting Wife's Lover's Throat, Drinking His Blood, Video Goes Viral

In yet another horrifying incident, man has been arrested in Karnataka's Chikkaballapur for allegedly slitting his friend's throat and later drinking his blood.

The accused, identified as Vijay, became suspicious of his friend Maresh of having an illicit relationship with his wife. Vijay asked Maresh to meet him for a discussion regarding this matter, which quickly escalated into a heated argument. In a fit of rage, Vijay attacked Maresh with a sharp-edged weapon, severing his throat.

Reports state that Vijay then attempted to drink his blood, officials said. The distressing event was captured on camera by passersby near a crossing in Chintamani Taluk.

The video footage depicts Maresh lying on the ground with his throat slashed open, while Vijay appears to interrogate him about something. Shockingly, Vijay is seen bending down to consume the blood flowing from Maresh's injured throat. Additionally, the video shows Vijay assaulting the wounded man with punches and slaps.

After the video went viral on various social media platforms, Vijay was arrested, and a case of attempted murder has been registered against him at the Kencharlahalli police station. Meanwhile, Maresh is currently receiving medical treatment for his injuries.
