Siddaramaiah leads in terms of choice of Chief Minister of Karnataka, said the ABP survey. The incumbent chief minister has attracted 30% votes of respondents who believe should continue as the next chief minister if Congress comes to power.

Not far behind is BS Yeddyurappa who is preferred by 25% of the total respondents. HD Kumaraswamy is at a distant third with 20% votes.
27 percent are satisfied with Siddaramaiah's performance while Modi government's performance at the Centre is liked by 25%.
As per the opinion poll, several factors are in favour of Siddaramaiah, who is fighting anti-incumbency in a state that has not given any government a second term in a long time. Supreme Court's recent verdict in the Cauvery river sharing matter was in favour of Karnataka.
