Karnataka Elections 2018: Congress ahead in all C fore surveys

As the campaign for the Karnataka Assembly Elections 2018 reached a feverish pitch, C fore has released third pre-poll survey on Monday. The pre-poll surveys, published in 2017 and 2018, do not differ significantly. In fact, surveys published between 2013 to 2018 were 99 percent accurate.

According to the survey conducted in various parts of Karnataka, Siddaramaiah-led Congress party will once again form the government in the state. For the third time, the C-fore has announced that the Congress will get a majority.

Survey in 2017

The survey was conducted between July 19 and August 10, 2017, in various constituencies of Karnataka.

• Interview with 24,679 voters of 165 selected assembly constituencies
• The respondents of different religions and castes were from 340 cities and 550 villages.

The survey in March 2018

The survey was conducted between March 1, 2018, and March 25, 2018. A total of 22,357 voters from 154 assembly constituencies were interviewed. Voters belong to 2,368 polling booths in the state. A total of 326 urban and 977 rural areas are covered by the survey.

C fore survey 2018

The survey was conducted between April 20-30, 2018 in 61 Assembly constituencies. Around 6,247 voters from various castes, religion and communities were interviewed. C fore prediction comes with 95 percent accuracy and has given 2 percent margin for error.
