Karnataka Congress Workers 'Purify' Vidhana Soudha With Cow Urine
Congress workers in Karnataka on Monday sprinkled cow urine and performed pooja at the State Assembly in Bengaluru.
A few months ago, D K Shivakumar had said the Congress will come to power and purify the Vidhana Soudha with 'Ganjala' (cow urine), alleging that it was polluted by corruption during the BJP rule.

"It's about 40-45 days left for your government, pack your tents and do whatever collection that is left and go. We will come with dettol to clean Vidhana Soudha. I have even got some Ganjala (cow urine) for purification....people are wanting to get rid of this evil government," he added.
The clip of purifying Vidhana Soudha with cow urine has now gone viral.
In the recently-held Karnataka polls, Congress registered a resounding victory by winning 135 seats in the 224-member Assembly. The BJP managed to bag just 66 while the JDS was reduced to 19 seats.
On Saturday, Siddaramaiah and D K Shivakumar took oath as the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister, respectively.
G Parameshwara, K H Muniyappa, K J George, M B Patil, Satish Jarkiholi, Priyank Kharge, Ramalinga Reddy, and B Z Zameer Ahmed Khan also took oath as the ministers.
Meanwhile, the Karnataka Assembly witnessed a rare moment after D K Shivakumar and R Ashoka, BJP leader who took on him in the Kanakapura constituency and lost by a record margin of 1,22,392 votes, posed together for a camera.
The first Karnataka Legislative Assembly session will be held for three days starting today during which newly elected MLAs will be administered oaths. Senior Congress leader R V Deshpande is the pro-tem Speaker for the ongoing session.
