Kapil Sharma's brother guarded Pathankot airbase during attack
New Delhi, Jan 11: While the dust is yet to settle around the Pathankot terror attack, there are many army personnel who are being recognised for their efforts and bravery and comedian Kapil Sharma's brother is one of them.
According to a report in ABP news Kapil Sharma's brother Ashok Kumar Sharma was sent to the airbase ever since news broke about the attack and he was sent there along with other 80 policemen to protect the airbase.

Reports suggest that Ashok Kumar Sharma was on a 20-hour shift during the attack and had time only for a power nap.
Once the operation was over, they heaved a sigh of relief.
Ashok is a head constable with the Amritsar rural police. Meanwhile, Kapil and Ashok's father was a sub-inspector with the Punjab police.
The operation between security personnel and the terrorists lasted for about 17 hours which left six terrorists and seven security personnel dead.
