Kanhaiya moves bail plea in Delhi High Court

New Delhi, Feb 19: JNU student leader Kanhaiya Kumar, arrested for sedition, on Friday moved the Delhi High Court seeking bail.

The president of the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students Union moved the bail application two days after a lower court sent him to judicial custody till March 2.

The student leader was produced in the court on Wednesday, Feb 17 after the end of his police custody, where a group of men dressed in lawyers' robes unleashed a brazen attack on him and others, which included journalists, who were present there.
