Kanhaiya Kumar to join protest against Rohith Vemula's suicide
Hyderabad, Mar 23: JNU Students Union President Kanhaiya Kumar will visit Hyderabad Central University on Wednesday and will join the protest against Rohith Vemula's suicide.
Kumar will also meet Vemula's mother. Kumar is expected to travel to Hyderabad with a delegation of JNU students and AISF. Ahead of Kanhaiya Kumar's visit, Hyderabad University barred the entry of outsiders and media personnel.

This comes a day after Kumar met Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi at his residence. While Kanhaiya did not interact with the media after an hour-long meeting with Gandhi, NSUI Chief Roji M John described it as a courtesy call to thank Gandhi for his support during the ongoing row at the university.
Kumar was recently released from jail on after he was booked for sedition. Gandhi on the other hand, had come out in support of Kanhaiya an the unrest at JNU. Gandhi had joined the protest march demanding the release of Kumar from jail.
Gandhi had also joined the protest at Hyderabad University against Rohith Vemula's suicide. The political leader sat on a hunger strike for a day and even met Vemula's family supporting their cause.
