Kamduni gang-rape: Three get death, three life imprisonment
Kolkata, Jan 30: A court here on Saturday awarded the death sentence to three people and life imprisonment to three others convicted in the brutal gang rape and murder of a college student in West Bengal's Kamduni village.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Sanchita Sarkar pronounced capital punishment for Saiful Ali, Ansar Ali and Amin Ali who have been convicted of gang rape and murder.
The trio Sheikh Emanul Islam, Aminur Islam and Bhola Naskar, who have been convicted of gang rape, criminal conspiracy and causing disappearance of evidence, were awarded life imprisonment.
