Kaithal District In Haryana Sees ₹15.61 Crore Development Boost

Haryana’s Minister of Health and Civil Aviation, Dr. Kamal Gupta, announced that development projects worth ₹15.61 crore will be implemented in Kaithal district for the financial year 2024-25 under the 'D-Plan’. This initiative includes ₹11.79 crore for rural areas and ₹3.81 crore for urban regions.

During a District Development and Monitoring Committee meeting in Kaithal on Friday, Dr. Kamal Gupta highlighted that nearly ₹5.14 crore was spent on development works under the 'D-Plan’ in the previous financial year 2023-24. Out of 91 projects, 55 have been completed, and 25 are still in progress.

Dr. Gupta emphasised the importance of fairness, transparency, and quality in utilising the allocated funds. He urged all officers to ensure that development works are prioritised and completed efficiently. "All development works should be completed on priority," he stated.

The minister also stressed the need for social development projects to benefit all sections of society. He said, "Social development works should be carried out as much as possible so that all sections of society can benefit from them."

Present at the meeting were MLA Leela Ram, BJP District President Ashok Gurjar, and other relevant district administration officers.

Dr. Gupta's focus on transparency aims to ensure that the funds are used effectively for the intended purposes. The emphasis on social development highlights the government's commitment to inclusive growth.

The ongoing projects from the previous financial year indicate a continuous effort towards improving infrastructure and services in both rural and urban areas of Kaithal district.
